Elaine A Powers, Lyric Power Publishing, with design assistance from the IRCF, has just released a new awareness booklet titled “How do you Tell the Difference Between Native Rock Iguanas and Invasive Green Iguanas”.
The booklet will be printed and distributed in the Caribbean / West Indies. Green iguanas from Central and South America, have been introduced around the world. This becomes a problem where native iguanas already exist. The greens outcompete the native iguanas, endangering their populations and the environment. This booklet is intended to help people tell the difference.
