RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS

Retirement Asset Donations:

Retirement assets (including IRA´s, 401(k) plans, and Keogh plans) are subject to personal income taxes, which in some cases can reduce the value of the asset up to 50%. By naming the IRCF as the beneficiary, proceeds from these specific assets would be tax free. This could allow you to leave other less heavily taxable assets (real estate, securities, and cash) to your heirs. This is a superb way to support the IRCF and conservation with minimal impact to your heirs.

To assign retirement assets, contact your plan administrator for a Change in Beneficiary form and list The International Reptile Conservation Foundation as the beneficiary. Please contact the IRCF to obtain the Federal Tax Identification using our toll-free number 877-472-3674 (877 IRCF ORG), or Fax 408-270-5006, or using the IRCF´s Contact Us link at the bottom of each web page.

CD´s and Bank Accounts:

Listing IRCF as the beneficiary on any of these accounts means that the entire asset would transfer to the IRCF following the end of your life.
