THE IRCF
One of the principal aims of the IRCF is to support conservation and research programs that contribute to the survival of threatened reptiles and their habitats.

The IRCF works in concert with the scientific community, educators, and professional conservation organizations as a part of the total conservation solution.

The IRCF is a member-based organization that actively pursues the conservation of reptiles and the natural habitat and ecosystems that support them in a variety of capacities depending on the project or program. IRCF support may include funding, mobilization of volunteers, and/or logistical assistance. As a component of our support services, the IRCF communications team develops, hosts, and maintains a variety of websites, promoting conservation programs, building international awareness, and campaigning for funds and other support.

The IRCF is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible in the USA. Further, the Foundation serves as a conduit and facilitates donations and grants to programs which themselves are unable to offer U.S. tax deductions. IRCF support is applied where it is most effective and operates under a policy of accountability to its donors.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILTY
IRCF meets all IRS and California State tax-reporting requirements for a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. A copy of our tax-exempt status letter can be obtained by contacting IRCF.

IRCF prides itself on being fiscally responsible with all generated income. Each year we fulfill our commitment to ensure that donations and generated income are applied to benefit conservation programs and not spent on unrelated expenses. Our administrative expenses have remained at 8%, thereby allowing $.92 of each dollar to be directly applied to actual project costs.
